Central to Larne Mission Hall is God’s Word (The Holy Bible). There is no higher authority for us. It is vital for our spiritual growth to spend time learning from the Word. Within our fellowship we have an emphasis in having God’s Word taught and expounded in a practical way which applies to our everyday lives.
For primary school age kids each Wednesday night at 6.30pm. Bible Explorers has fun activities: quizzes, songs, games, memory verses, Bible lessons & crafts etc. Biblical truths are taught a safe environment & encouraged to take part in some church services. https://forms.gle/CVFrcP7yR5CFfQa99
During Sunday morning services there is an opportunity for younger children to go to Children’s church where they will be taught bible lessons. This ministry supplements the Sunday school teaching and is not just for children belonging to the church but any visiting children our free to attend.

For those of secondary school age and older the Bible Class helps to ground young people in the truths of God’s word. Each Sunday at 10.30 we meet together to explore the Bible and how it applies to issues in our lives. Teenagers are also encouraged to read and study God’s word for themselves.
For children of Primary school age we have Sunday School each Sunday at 10.30 in the church hall. Children are divided into age appropriate classes and have activities such songs and quizzes and Bible lessons from God’s word. Why not make a point of sending your children along this Sunday?
The first and the third Sunday of each month Youth Fellowship meets after church at 8.15pm. The purpose is to encourage young people to know God and to be an encouragement one for another. They enjoy food and trips together and have a relaxed atmosphere where questions are encouraged.
The media ministry encompases sound recording on the mixing desk, CD duplication, projection of Bible texts and hymns and uploading our messages to Sermonaudio.com. It has become a vital ministry within the fellowship as technology develops for the furtherance of sharing the Gospel message.
The music ministry in Larne Mission Hall not only includes our organist, pianoist and singers but there is room for all who have been gifted to use their talents in serving within the church. All are actively encouraged to take part from children to older people. If you have a talent don’t hide it.
Ladies Fellowship is usually held on the first Monday of each month. There are specially selected speakers sharing their stories and always a cup of tea etc afterwards. During June they would have a ‘Fit for Life’ activity. A wide range of ages attend from young ladies to grannies. Our Programme can be viewed here.
Ballygally provides the venue for our Open Air work which has been ongoing for many years. The carpark provides an ideal location for many who come and sit in ther cars listening to the Gospel message. They are held at 3.30pm on Sunday afternoons in the months of July and August weather permitting.
YOUNGLIFE YOUTH CLUB
Younglife Youth Club is held on the first and third Friday of the month from 7.30-9.30pm. It caters for the age group from 11+ upwards. Fun and fellowship and games. Held in the multipurpose hall the youth club will create a safe environment for the young people of our area. Launch night is 15th September!!
